Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners (EPA&P), Russia’s leading national law firm, has won the Gold Award as the Best Russian Law Firm at the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards 2010.
The Awards ceremony, which took place yesterday at the Intercontinental hotel in Paris, reflects the firm’s leading standing in Russia and its achievements over the past 12 months. In 2009 Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners advised some of the biggest restructuring and litigation cases and supported the Russian Government in developing the anti-crisis legislation at the time of global financial crisis.
Held in one of the most splendid palaces of Paris, the awards ceremony gathered representatives from the best independent law firms from more than 20 countries: the US, the UK, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Turkey, India, China, Japan, Australia, South Africa, the UAE and others. In June 2008 EPA&P became the first Russian law firm to receive the coveted award.
